Poetry Reading

Last Sunday evening, July 27th, I participated in a poetry reading, my first in many years, at Chico Grace Brethren Church. Poetry readings and churches aren’t often mentioned in the same sentence, but anything can happen.  Many thanks to my friend Paul Mathers for organizing the event, and to Beth DeSeelhorst and Laurie Mathers for being a part of making it a great evening. Follow the link below to the audio of all four of us at CGB’s website.  I read “A Boy’s Face in Repose,” “Sharks and Stingrays,” “Satchmo,” and “Los Angeles 1990.”
